PC Screensavers

PC screensavers come in many varieties of images, after all people who own and use a personal computer have a wide range of interests. For that reason, one finds terrific variety among the list of screensavers available to the owner of a PC.  The list of available PC screensavers highlights the diversity that typically exists within any group of PC users.

Some of the PC screensavers appeal to those PC users with a more combative personality. The Kabuki Warriors screensaver has been requested by many combat-minded PC users. That screensaver allows the computer user to put as many as 56 different images of a Kabuki warrior on his or her monitor screen.

Some of the PC users have chosen not to dwell on matters of this earth. Some of the PC users have requested the Asteroid Flyby 3D screensaver. They enjoy watching a space probe pass an asteroid.

Other PC screensavers share the ability of the Saturn Seven screensaver to transport a computer user points outside of the earth’s atmosphere. The Worlds Away screensaver can “carry” the computer user to mysterious planets in a far-off galaxy. Some of those planets have moons, and some have rings.

Some PC users like to obtain PC screensavers that can be modified by the person who owns the monitor on which the screensaver is displayed. The Saturn Seven screensaver is one such PC screensaver. It is an open GL screensaver. The computer user has the ability to add shadows to that screensaver.

Those PC users who prefer light to shadows have elected to obtain a City of Lights screensaver. It allows the computer user to imagine that he or she has been carried into the air in a helicopter. The screen on the computer monitor displays what looks like a rainbow colored metropolis, a city over which the imaginary helicopter is passing.

Some PC users spend many hours using the software in the Ace Photo Screensaver Maker. That software guides the creation of a “slideshow” on a computer monitor. By using the available software, the computer user can add music and text to the pictures in the slideshow.

PC users who enjoy watching ice skating competitions usually derive pleasure from viewing one of the Ice Skating screensavers. One such screensaver shows Kristi Yamaguchi on ice. Like many of the PC screensavers, this screensaver does not expect the PC user to feel satisfied with a limited number of pictures. It contains 30 different pictures.

Another similar screensaver, the Figure Skating screensaver displays pictures of many different athletes/performers. It shows both paired and single skaters. It also shows both skating as an exhibition and skating done in a competition.
The skating screensavers display frozen water. Moving water can be found in certain 3D screensavers. One such screensaver is the Jabula Drake 3D Water Screensaver. It turns the monitor screen into a watery illusion.
