Popular Screensavers, Animals, Hot Women & Men

Many of the most popular screensavers represent one of four basic categories, four areas in which large numbers of the general public take a particular interest. Those four categories have these names: “babes and hunks,” “3D and animations,” “animals,” and “nature.”

The category “babes and hunks” provides screensavers to the sex-starved segment of society. Each screensaver in that category displays a scantily clad young man or young woman. The physique of the photographed young adult is fully disclosed in the screensaver’s picture.

Several of the 3D screensavers and the animated screensavers have become very popular screensavers. Sales for the 3D aquarium screensaver can be described as “excellent.” Computer owners have paid lots of money in order to have their monitors look like aquariums with small, swimming fish.

Two categories for the popular screensavers contain a number of different collections. One such category is the one that has pictures frequently desired by animal lovers. That category has these popular collections: bear collections, bird collections, eagles’ collections, funny collections and horses’ collections.

Nature-themed screensavers might qualify for “first prize” among the most popular screensavers. There are more than one dozen collections in the category with the nature-themed and popular screensavers.

Some of those collections focus on a geographic aspect of the earth: the mountains collections, the volcanoes collections, the beaches collections, the lakes collections, the tropical islands collections, the waterfalls collections and the oceans collections. Other nature-themed screensavers focus on specific natural phenomena: the winter collections, the clouds collections and the forces of nature collection.

A few of the most popular screensavers defy categorization. No category, for example, seems right for the fireplace screensavers. In fact, some of the popular screensavers would be “odd-balls” if placed in one of the existing categories for great-selling screensavers. While hoping to avoid the need to place a screensaver in a questionable category, the makers of the screensaver have failed to classify each available screensaver.

At one time, the makers of screensavers must have asked themselves this: “Do dinosaurs belong in the category named “animals”? Dinosaurs are found in a number of popular screensavers. Animal screensavers are usually good-selling screensavers. Dinosaurs are animals.

Despite those facts, the makers of screensavers did not put dinosaur screensavers in the category of animal screensavers. Once the screensaver makers had ruled out that sort of categorization, they had to look at two other popular screensavers. They had to look at the “under the sea” and the “moonlight” screensavers.

Do those screensavers belong in the category of “nature” screensavers? Can a scene from under the sea represent a specific geographic region of the earth? Can a moonlit scene represent a natural phenomenon?

The makers of screensavers have decided that the answer to those two questions is “no.” They have not put the “under the sea” screensavers in the “nature” category. Neither have they put “moonlight” screensavers in the “nature” category. Computer users who desire one of those popular screensavers must know the title of the screensaver. They can not search in some category.

Despite that fact, computer users continue to request the still non-categorized but always popular screensavers.
